Peter Zandan spent 40 years in the data prediction business, including taking a data company public. Then he became predictable too.
Long Bio:
Peter Zandan is Co-founder with his son, Noah, and Executive Chairman of Quantified AI, an Austin-based company and recognized as one of the the 50 fastest-growing AI firms in America. The company, founded with his son Noah, helps leaders communicate more effectively through data-driven coaching.
Peter serves on the Board of Directors at Meow Wolf, the immersive art experience that draws over 3 million visitors annually to its installations across the country. He also advises the National Academy of Sciences on AI and its implications for society, building on a relationship spanning more than 25 years.
These current roles sit at the intersection of everything Peter spent his career learning, and unlearning, about data, behavior, and what technology does to human judgment.
Previously, Peter was Vice Chairman at Hill+Knowlton Strategies, where he led research and advised Fortune 500 companies on navigating a data-driven world. Before that, he founded two companies. IntelliQuest Information Group, which he took public, became the largest data research company in the technology industry, working with clients including Microsoft, Apple, IBM, Oracle, and Goldman Sachs. Zilliant pioneered machine-learning pricing optimization years before the current wave of interest.
Peter holds an MBA and Ph.D. from the University of Texas. He has taught at the McCombs School of Business and spent time as a fellow at the American Academy in Rome.
